The LIFEBOOK E734 13.3" Laptop Computer from Fujitsu features a 13.3" widescreen display that has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1366 x 768 native resolution. The HD resolution allows 720p HD content to be played natively on the LIFEBOOK E734 without upscaling or letterboxing. The screen is powered by integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600. You can also output video to an external display via the DisplayPort.

The system is powered by a dual-core 4th generation Haswell2.5 GHz Intel Core i5-4200M processor. It has 4GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM, a 500GB5400 rpm hard drive with an 8GB solid-state drive cache, a Secure Digital (SD)card slot, a Smart Card reader, 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet,802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an integrated Full HD webcam, and dual digital microphones. There are also built-in stereo speakers.

Dual-Core 4th-GenHaswell Intel Core i5 Performance

The LIFEBOOK E734 houses an Intel Core i5-4200M processor. Its dual cores can reach a stock speed of 2.5 GHz. The processor can also be overclocked up to 3.1 GHz, thanks to Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. The Haswell processor uses less voltage for better energy efficiency without sacrificing performance. With a dedicated 3MB L3 cache, 4GB of 1600 MHz DDR3RAM, and Intel Hyper-Threading technology, you'll be able to multitask between applications quickly and efficiently. Visuals are handled by integrated IntelHD Graphics 4600.

13.3" widescreen display

The 13.3" widescreen display on the LIFEBOOK E734 features a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1366 x 768 native resolution. The HD resolution allows you to play 720p HD content natively without having to upscale or letterbox the image. You can also output video to an external display via the DisplayPort. There is also a VGA port if you need to connect to older displays.

Hybrid Drive (HHD)

The LIFEBOOK E734 features a hybrid hard drive, which includes 8GB of flash storage along with the traditional 500GB of storage. Fast performance is achieved by storing the operating system files and frequently-used data on the solid-state drive cache while the less frequently used data is kept on the conventional 500GB hard drive.

USB 3.0 & AnytimeUSB Charge

USB 3.0 provides a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gb/s, which is 10 times faster than USB 2.0. USB 3.0 is also backward compatible with USB1.1 and USB 2.0. You can easily identify the USB 3.0 port by looking for the USB port with a blue center. One of the USB ports also has the Anytime USBCharge feature. This allows you to charge an external device with a USB charge connector even when the LIFEBOOK E734 is turned off. Please note that the Anytime USB Charge feature is disabled by default. You will have to go into your settings to activate it.

ComputraceBIOS-Enabled Models

The integrated Computrace BIOS tracking agent from AbsoluteSoftware is embedded in the BIOS firmware and is designed to provide innovative theft recovery solutions with optional Computrace software. Biometrics

Fujitsu offers a built-in biometric fingerprint swipe sensor that eliminates the need for managing multiple passwords when accessing the network and managing email accounts and other protected systems. With a simple swipe of the finger, you can quickly and safely log onto the protected system and online accounts without having to enter passwords.

DedicatedSmart Card

A dedicated Smart Card slot allows you to store passwords and other confidential information on a small plastic card. Smart Cards can also be used in conjunction with TPM and the biometric fingerprint sensor for multi-level user authentication. Please note that Smart Cards are not included and will need to be purchased separately.

If this happens, data loss may occur. The Fujitsu Shock Sensor utility is a sophisticated hard disk drive protection system designed to minimize the likelihood of such an event. Inside the LIFEBOOK E734 is an accelerometer that constantly senses any sudden movement, including free falls, excessive vibration, or sudden impacts. Fujitsu Shock Sensor monitors movement from three axes: front-to-back, side-to-side, and up-and-down. The sensitivity can be adjusted by the user to accommodate different working environments. If a sudden movement is detected, the read-write head is quickly retracted to a safe zone, reducing the possibility of a head crash and the potential loss of data. This technology reduces the risk of your hard drive being damaged and your data being lost forever.
